A Digital Connectivity Roadshow
Along with nbnCo, Regional Development Australia Darling Downs and South West is proud to bring you this series of events, connecting government, industry and community together within the Darling Downs and South West Qld to future plan. As the old saying goes, “Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance”, so we want to hear from you! Be a part of the region’s future by participating in these important planning forums and workshops.
Disruptions and uncertainty in our world have become the norm. The pandemic has served to highlight the fragilities within our communities, and many pre-existing issues have intensified over the last two years, fuelled by the pandemic. Now is the time to connect, reflect, explore these pain points, and problem solve collectively to be a better prepared community, facing into an uncertain world. Health, education, housing, jobs, skills shortages, sustainability, innovation, supply chains have all been topical. The pandemic has also reinforced the importance of connectivity to stay in touch, to innovate, to work remotely and to bridge the tyranny of distance between regional and metropolitan areas. Connectivity is critical to investment and employment attraction, delivering the economic cornerstone for industry investment and liveability in our region. Critical infrastructure (including digital infrastructure) has never been more important for our regional communities to thrive.
We want your opinion on the key drivers and barriers in your community and your ideas on where we need to focus resources for a productive, bright, and resilient future. We hope to see you there!
Catering will be provided.
